We decided to believe we could have a baby whether I was having a monthly cycle or not. When it was God’s will for us, then it would happen no matter what. Shortly after, I felt led to Victory Church where I found a small group with the name “Believing the Impossible.” Since that was exactly what I was doing, I began attending the group. During the next year God drew me into a close, personal relationship with Him. I became satisfied with Him. I realized He was all I needed to be complete, not that I would be complete after having a baby. I completely saturated myself in His Word and surrounded myself with like believers. When people would ask (and they asked a lot) “when are you going to have a baby?” I would just say, “I’m ready whenever God’s ready.” The more I saturated myself in His Word and spoke belief in it, the more I began to really believe that we would have a baby. The pain was still there, but I was looking to Him for comfort. My faith was increasing and doubt was decreasing. I remember praying so many times, “give me gladness in proportion to my former misery (Psalm 90:15)!”

Finally in December of 2008 I had one monthly cycle out of nowhere, completely on my own. What a surprise! Then in January 2009 I found out I was pregnant. Now our little Aidan is 10 months old and I can truly say I have gladness in proportion to my former misery. God has been so very faithful to us in every way. He did everything His Word said He would. I remember hearing many times that He is no respecter of persons (Acts 10:34). Now we are back to square one with no monthly cycles, but we believe God will bless us with another miracle all in His perfect timing.

Make sure you mark Sunday, July 4, on your calendar because you do not want to miss Rockets Over RHEMA 2010!

But there will be plenty to do before the fireworks get started. At 5:00 p.m. enjoy a patriotic tribute in the RHEMA Bible Church Auditorium as we celebrate our nation’s freedom.

Beginning at 6:00 p.m., visitors will find something for everyone outdoors. Children will enjoy inflatable games, face painting, and the temporary tattoo stations posted around the campus. The young (and young at heart) can test their ability to hang on to a mechanical bull and rock climbing wall.

If you’re more into looking than participating, there will be a car show featuring antique vehicles from the ’20s and ’30s, along with custom-built hot rods, racing cars, and motorcycles.

During the excitement if your stomach starts growling, there will be plenty of concessions to enjoy. From hot dogs and hamburgers to corn dogs, funnel cakes, popcorn, cotton candy, and shaved ice, no one in the family will have to go hungry. 

There will also be great merchants who will offer a variety of booths and tents near the KXOJ stage. Some will offer free prizes and giveaways.

The concert will begin around 6:30 p.m. and features music the entire family can enjoy from Christian artists Point of Grace, Francesca, Pocket Full of Rocks, and The AXIS Worship Band. When the concert comes to an end, the grand finale will begin around 10:00 p.m. Grab a blanket, a lawn chair, or just sit on the grass and watch one of the largest fireworks displays in the Tulsa/Broken Arrow area. If you’re not close enough to the stage to hear the music, tune your radio to KXOJ 100.9 to hear the music synchronized to one of the most amazing fireworks displays you’ll ever see!
